...And now I've finally decided.

From here on out, my livejournal is now friends-locked. I've realized most of my entries have focused on my real life more and more recently, and I'm not yet ready to share it all with the rest of the world. Any public entries before this will still be public, but everything after this point is locked. If you wish to be added, either comment here or just add me, and I'll add you back. If you wish to know more about me, I direct you to my profile. Good night.

[[ I started this post at 5:30 AM; it is now 8:34PM :3 ]]

So I woke up at 5:20 AM this morning, and now it's about 6AM. WHY AM I UP SO GODDAMN EARLY?! Oh yeah, it's because I promised Phi I'd bring lasagna to the calculus party.... -___- So here I am, sitting in my PJ's, hoping to Whomever that the lasagna finishes baking before school begins. In the meantime, OMG I'M GRADUATING NEXT THURSDAY! It's so close and yet so far. As the year rounds to an end, there's been a lot of activities going on. Let's start with a while back....

May 24, 2009 Beach Party
The beach party this year wasn't as fun as the beach party last year (I have a feeling it has something to do with the people here this time), but the weather was exactly the same. In other words, it was cold, cloudy, hazy, and all-around suckish weather. Luckily, the sun came out around 3:00 and it quickly warmed up. The water was still never actually warm enough to go into, and I didn't really want to play volleyball, so all I did was just sit there in the warm sand and talk most of the time. I also have to say thank you to the guy who cooked our food for us, because that hot dog was heavenly. ^^ We stayed until it was almost dark, and we even had a bonfire to make smores with, even though the graham crackers ran out really quickly. Back to the "people" at the beachh party, Cynthia, a close friend of mine, was the one who planned the entire party, but a large marjority of people who did attend were people none of us were really close to. There were a lot of times where I was thinking to myself, "I really wish so-and-so were here." (Would it be wrong if I mentioned that the people who I did wish to show up were mostly guys? :O) All in all, it was okay.

May 27, 2009 Senior Honor's Night
I dare say, there's nothing more uplifting than to be awarded and then sit for another three hours as you watch other people receive a proposterous amount of awards, scholarships, and acheivements. Senior Honor's Night was so annoying long, I even missed my favorite show for it! However, I have to admit it was fun cheering for everyone that we knew. Judging by what they said, I can assume the following:
1. A large, large majority of the seniors will be going to community college (Evergreen and De Anza)
2. The most popular UC in my school is UC Davis (I don't understand why)
3. One person (our class president) got full tuition at FREAKING STANFORD.
4. One person got full tuition to FREAKING M.I.T!
I'm kind of proud of our class. :3

May 28, 2009 Cardboard Boat Race
The science department has this every year, but I have never gone to one in my high school years, until this year. This year, I had to participate because I stupidly decided to take Physics. Luckily, I didn't have to actually be in the boat; My teammates were there for that! Our boat was pretty successful. It made it all the way to the other side of the swimming pool. Our demise came when the boat had to turn around and they didnt know how. We lost to a team of one wearing a Vietnamese hat and a "F.O.B" boat...  The teacher'se race was the most entertaining. If I do say so myself, I believe that some of the student's made better boats than most of the teachers. Most of the teachers couldn't stay in their boats. About one minute into their race, the reigning champion, Mr. Henninger, entered the boat race (with cape and hats and all), and still managed to beat everyone else. He was even able to lap others, relax in his boat, and swim around the pool before anyone else reached the end of the race. All in all, it was pretty fun, but hectic.

May 29, 2009 Senior Picnic
I didn't really have high expectations for this event, and I was still managed to be let down a little. There was a swimming pool, a volleyball pit, a tennis court, and a lot of trees and shade, but there wasn't anything that appealed to me at the "secret" location. I would have jumped into the swimming pool if there were more people who could have joined in. Lunch was also a bit disappointing, especially since the line was about half and hour long, and the hot dog wasn't that good. It did get better when I hung out with Catherine though. We flirted in ways only we could understand. ;]

Right now, we're in the middle of Senior Finals, and because a majority of my classes are AP classes, it means there are no finals! Now that I think about it...With the exception of Physics and English, it's party time in all my classes! O_O Tomorrow will be our last "Finals" day. Thursday and Friday, I will be going to Grad Nite at Disneyland. Saturday, I really really really want to see UP. Sunday will be like my last free day. Monday, we have Senior Luau and our 7th Grade Reunion (COUNTDOWN TO SEE JASMINE AGAIN; I CAN'T WAIT!!) Tuesday is Graduation Practice. Wednesday is free day. THURSDAY, I AM GRADUATING.

My favorite show, So You Think You Can Dance, is now back on air, which means summer is about to start! This year, I think I've found my new Travis Wall. My new obsession is Nathan Trasoras. He is the cutest person ever. Unfortunately, he's 17, so he is not eligible for season 5, but I hope to see more of him in season 6!

Who is your favorite mother (the character, not the actress) from television or the movies?

View other answers

Are you kidding me? This is the easiest ever. I'm pretty sure many others have answered the same way I have, only proving even more how cool of a mother she is. My favorite mother from any television or movie is of course Lorelai Gilmore from the TV series Gilmore Girls.

Duh. Happy Mother's Day, everyone. Here's hoping you're all having a better day than I am.

2. New in Life
There's really only one month of school left, even fewer actual school days because of many tests and activities, and holy shit is it finally hitting us. We're Seniors. We're about to graduate. We're about to head off into this new world, some going off to college, others travelling down other paths, and this is the last month we'll have to spend together. Even crazier, these first two weeks will probably be the most stressful week of Senior Year, at least for me. I just finished the AP Government AP exam yesterday, took a multiple choice practice for Psychology today, have the AP Calculus AB exam tomorrow, AP English Literature the day after, and then the actual AP Psychology exam next Tuesday. To add to that, the Senior Prom was just last Saturday and we're all still kind of recuperating from it. (Everyone just literally slept the Sunday away.) I'm not completely stressing out yet, though, because aside from the English Lit exam, I feel like I'm prepared enough for all of the tests. What I don't feel like doing is the Physics Cardboard Boat Race at school. I thank my "friend" so much for abandoning me for her boyfriend and I am now forced to find a new group to work with. *sigh*

Also, in relating to my Prom, something's going on, and I'm not quite sure yet. All I know is that it's making me feel so confused and a little distracted at times... And yet, it's not quite a bad thing. I think I'm just going to wait and see.

3. In the Fandom World
I'm so sorry, I haven't been following the Naruto manga in a while. >< All I know is that once school calms down, I am going to snuggle into my bed with my laptop and a bag of chips and straight up watch the most recent Shippuden movie that just came out online. I mean, how can I ever resist the temptation that is Sasuke and Naruto? I really do miss their interaction in the manga though. When are they going to meet?

Recently though, I have been getting back into my most favorite show in the world: Veronica Mars! I've actually been able to get my friends into it as well. So who exactly have I converted so far? Elizabeth, Teresa, Victoria... I'm also working on Cynthia. ;] Sadly, any hopes of a Veronica Mars movie has been crushed with recent news. Darn you, economy, why must you sucketh so much?

There's also this new anime out called "Eden of the East" whose character designs were drawn by the same artist of "Honey & Clover".... Oh lordy, with just that, you've won my heart over. Really though, for my decreasing attention span, I'm really addicted to the series. The plot is actually very intriguing, the art is breathtaking, and the characters, although little is known about them at this point, are quite likeable. You also know when a series is good when after every 30-minute episode, you complain about how short it was. Some series can just drag on and on in just one episode! Simply, I'm addicted. A+++!

4. Randomosity
....And now I share some random things! First, this is the most precise and most excellently choreopgraphed dance I have ever ever ever seen. It seriously gave my chills and the urge to just go "squee" in real life. I have watched it so many times, I can't even count them. Definitely watch it in high quality AND BE AMAZED!

Also, my AP Literature exam is tomorrow, and it is the one test that I am the most worries about. Wish me luck. ><

I don't know how, and I don't know why, but for some reason, I'm really wanting a pair of lolita/heart-shaped sunglasses. It's probably dated, and it probably won't look good on me, but it's so cute. How can I resist?

So I finally realized that too many of my posts lately have been brief and only centered on college. I need a change in topic, but it's so hard when we'll be graduating in a few months and heading off to college. I'm still deciding between UCSD and UCI, but as of right now, I have a feeling I'll be going to Irvine. There's no specific reason why, I just want to. (Trust me, I even ended up making a pros and cons list for both schools. It didn't really help me all that much. Irvine had less cons, but San Diego had more pros.) During Spring Break, I'm planning a visit to both schools (on the 17th and 18th) with a few of my friends, and hopefull, I'll just fall head over heels in love with Irvine. I'm hoping to bring a camera there so we can camwhore and share the pictures. Unfortunately, some people have been calling me about room for carpool to the schools, but alas. There is no more room. Sorry Brian. Sorry Phi. If I could, I would.

Speaking of the upcoming Spring Break, we also have a lot more Senior events coming up. First, Senior Ball at Coconut Grove. *sigh* I got the dress that I was talking about a few posts ago, but now my aunts want to take me shoes shopping, which isn't exactly what I want to do with them. Especially when they disliked the dress of my choice, and I have a feeling they won't exactly approve of the shoes I want. It's really hard to go shopping with people who share a different taste than you, especially if they're older. This month, there's been a lot of cute demonstrations of people asking others to prom. It's quite fun to be a witness of a few of them. I'm probably going to be going to prom alone, (despite the insistence a certain person), and I think I'm actually fine with that. There's no discount for the couple's bid, and like a friend said, I don't want to have to be with that date the entire time. There's a general consensus that the only good reason to have a date is for the prom pictures. Yeah, I don't really get that.

What I'm looking forward to the most is Grad Night in June. A whole night at Disneyland with only our friends and other students from all across the West Coast. Uh, hell yeah. It's pretty expensive ($309), but I'm ready to make it worth it. I mean, it's Disneyland, for heaven's sake.

Anyway, Pokemon Platinum for the DS is my latest addiction. You'd be surprised how addicting and popular the Pokemon series still is. Even at my school, I swear you'll find all the guys in Mr. Taylor's class playing every lunch. Even Mr. Taylor plays (even though he lost to Anthony...) I'm so behind all of the guys though. I've been taking my time, since I have a specific goal in mind: A team of Eeveeolutions! First step: Get a FEMALE Eevee! That's harder than it actually sounds....

Now, on a final, bittersweet note, I end with this. It describes exactly how I feel right now, and sadly, I'm just about ready to give up on this friendship:
